The organic lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flowers at maturity before withering are distilled by water steam.

The hydrolat we obtain that way goes in a specific tank. We can see on the top layer the golden essential oil.

The precious essential oil rises up naturally to the top. We collect it with great care and filter it to obtain a wonderful quality product.

The filter stage allow us to get the maximum of essential oil.

At the end of all the distillations, we run some tests in order to get each essential oil chemotype, and to confirm our expectations in terms of quality.

This first year of the distillery is very encouraging, and the partnership projects with local farmers are already on the go.
