This powerful healing and antihemorrhagic agent can be applied to cuts, grazes and scars; its action on such locations is further reinforced by its major hemostatic properties. It is prescribed to deal with autoimmune diseases (sclerosis) and viruses (chickenpox, measles, whooping cough), but also to help win the battle against insomnia. When used in combination with your day cream, it proves to be a great anti-wrinkle agent, due to its toxin draining properties. Cistus can also be useful when dealing with psychological scarring and trauma.

Advice:

Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment or therapy orally. Oral administration: Take 2 drops of organic cistus essential oil twice a day, mixed with a little honey, syrup, or a lozenge: this will help wounds to heal. On the skin: Apply 2 drops of cistus essential oil to the area of concern, such as areas of noticeable skin ageing or cuts etc. By diffusion: Cistus will act as an antidepressant whilst helping rebalance one’s psyche when diffused into the atmosphere.
