Botanical Properties

The orange tree is a small fruit-bearing tree with evergreen leaves that can measure up to 10m in height, and belongs to the Rustaceae family. It has dark green leaves, which are both thick and waxy, and white flowers that emit a characteristic, delicate scent. The orange tree produces the famous orange citrus fruit, which is more specifically known as the sweet orange.

Sweet orange originated in Southeast Asia, however, nowadays it is cultivated in Mediterranean regions (such as Portugal, Spain, and Italy), Carlifornia and Florida. Its essence is highly popular for its fragrance, but also loved for its sweet softness, and its capacity to bring about serenity and a soothing atmosphere.
