Botanical Properties
Ylang Ylang is a tropical tree from the Annonaceae family. In the wild, it can reach 30m in height. Its perennial green leaves have characteristic thick, clear veins. The axillary flowers turn from green to yellow and release the legendary ylang ylang scent.
Origin and history
Originating in Oceania, Madagascar and the Comoros, ylang ylang has been used for centuries as a perfume or remedy. In the Indonesian islands, the freshly picked flowers are infused with coco oil, producing a perfect ointment for skin and body care. Its strongly scented yellow flowers and their unforgettable perfume can reawaken feelings of sensuality and eroticism.

Indications
Organic ylang ylang essential oil relaxes feelings of stress, irritability, spiritual tension, anguish, addictive disorders and depression.
Its gentle and scented nature makes it an ideal skin and hair product. Ylang ylang can boost the libido with its aphrodisiacal and sensual properties.
Instructions
Please consult a doctor before taking any treatment or therapy orally.
Oral administration: 1 drop of organic ylang ylang essential oil, twice a day, with a little honey and syrup, or on a lozenge to relieve menstrual or menopausal pains .
On the skin: Depression: Apply 1 drop of essential ylang ylang essential oil to the insides of the wrists, 3 times a day.
Stress: 1 drop of organic ylang ylang essential oil + 1 drop of organic petitgrain essential oil + 3 drops of organic macadamia oil and massage onto the arches of the feet and solar plexus.
Sensual massage: 3 drop of organic ylang ylang essential oil + 1 drop of organic sandal essential oil + 6 drops of jojoba or cocoa oil.

Energetic values and synergies
In energy aromatherapy, ylang ylang essential oil is associated with the sacral chakra, or the 'Svadhistana'. It is orange in colour.
Ylang ylang essential oil activates the Svadhistana and relaxes the body, but also reawakens feelings of passion and desire. It stimulates and releases inner joy, good moods, euphoria and the enjoyment of each of life's moments.
