Sweet inula organic
Inula graveolens
Botanical Properties
Inula is a hardy perennial plant of the Asteraceae family.
It is cultivated in Corsica where it flowers rapidly at the end of summer, with yellow composite flowerheads with numerous fine ligules.
Inula comes from the daisy family. Its foliage is pale green on top and hairy greenish-grey on the underside.
It supports temperatures of below -15°C, and it is not uncommon to find it at altitude.
Very aromatic, sweet inula gives off a subtly sweet and herbaceous perfume.
